After a long time break, a few members of Online Knowledge Society convened at a online get together on 4th September 2020. The members who were youth volunteers of Online Knowledge Society during 2009-12, now they engages with different institutions and organisations. At 2009, there was a very limited internet facility to the common, but Online Knowledge Society took its volunteers in online and an online office was run to discuss daily updates. We used ning website when it was free. But later the website was charged, then we shifted to facebook and later in wordpress.

The first outdoor programme of Online Knowledge Society were organized on 8th December 2009, just before the 15th Conference of Parties (COP15) and WTO Ministerial Conference at Switzerland. From that event, Online Knowledge Society demanded `free movement of climate induced migrants all over the globe‘. Started the journey from that event, later Online Knowledge Society acted for the youth employment, climate change, agriculture – producers cooperative and marketing cooperative. Solidarity Economy for sustainable development was the goal of those events; online activism was the mode of mobilization, particularly the youth and students.
From 2009 till 2013, Online Knowledge Society mobilized about thousands of students and youths from different educational institutions.

The members of Online Knowledge Society met today at the get together meeting for just communicating each others. But the members felt to re-activate the youth forum of Online Knowledge Society to share their knowledge and experiences. To discuss the issue, a next get together meet with all members of Online Knowledge Society would be convened on 25 September 2020.
